วันนี้เรามาพูดถึง 10 คำศัพท์ที่ใช้บ่อยมากๆในชีวิตประจำวันการพูดภาษาอังกฤษเลยนะคะ แต่ครูใหม่สังเกตเห็นหลายๆคนอาจจะยังสับสนกับการเติม s นะคะ คำที่ 1. information ถ้าเราพูดแบบนี้ 'เรารวบรวมข้อมูลมาจากหลายๆแหล่ง' We gathered information from multiple sources. แน่นอนว่ามันไม่ใช่ข้อมูลเดียวนะคะ ลองคิดดูว่าต้องเติม s ตรง information มั้ยคะ?

. คำตอบคือ ไม่ต้องเติม s ค่ะ! เพราะว่า information อยู่ในกลุ่มของ Uncountable noun ...คำนามที่นับไม่ได้ คล้ายๆ sugar, coffee, water แต่ถ้าคุณอยากจะเน้นถึงจำนวนเพื่อการสื่อสารที่ตรงกัน ส่วนใหญ่เค้าจะเติม a ....(คำลักษณะนาม).. of .....(คำนามนับไม่ได้แต่เป็นตัวหลักที่เรากำลังพูดถึง)... อย่าง sugar ก็จะใช้ a bag of sugar. น้ำตาล 1 ถุง 2 cups of coffee. กาแฟ 2 แก้ว
ดังนั้นให้เดาว่าถ้า information ใช้คำลักษณะนามอะไรคะ
คำตอบคือ A piece of information. A piece of information is enough to sue him.
ข้อมูลเพียงชิ้นเดียวก็เพียงพอที่จะฟ้องร้องเขาได้
